Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea drinks, including teas, smoothies, and specialty beverages, following standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling, food preparation, and equipment sanitation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using POS systems and basic math skills
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld by adhering to proper food handling procedures and health regulations
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and communicating stock needs
Skills
- Proven barista experience with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café or food service environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail or food industry setting while maintaining attention to detail
