Duties*
- Deliver engaging online lessons in math topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and discrete math using advanced learning technology platforms
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse student needs, incorporating best practices in lesson planning and classroom management
- Provide personalized tutoring and test preparation support for students preparing for exams or needing extra help in science, chemistry, biology, physiology, or engineering subjects
- Utilize data structures and machine learning concepts to enhance instructional methods and track student progress effectively
- Foster a positive virtual classroom environment by working with students of varying ages, including teenagers and adult learners, ensuring they stay motivated and engaged
- Assess student understanding through regular evaluations and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student performance, and communication with parents or guardians when applicable

Experience*
- Proven teaching experience with teenagers or adult education in math or related STEM fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, or engineering disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that incorporates complex concepts like differential equations, organic chemistry, microbiology, genetics, anatomy knowledge, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, data structures, and chemical processes
- Strong background in online instruction with familiarity using various learning technology tools and platforms for remote teaching
- Experience working with children or young learners in classroom settings or virtual environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations for diverse learning needs is a plus
- Excellent communication skills combined with computer literacy to manage virtual classrooms effectively
- Prior experience in test preparation tutoring for standardized exams or subject-specific assessments is advantageous
