Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a comfortable environment for our guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, floors, and furniture, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and coffee items in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in the cleaning of public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in all cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and custodial duties is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
