Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities, ensuring all tasks meet quality standards and safety protocols.
- Ensure that all cleaners are present and find coverage when needed.
- Manage staffing schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimize team productivity.
- Conduct training sessions on cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety regulations for new and existing staff.
- Oversee industrial cleaning projects, including large-scale sanitation tasks in commercial or warehouse environments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and incident reports to support accountability.
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning management, custodial services, or janitorial roles within industrial or commercial settings.
- Strong staff supervision and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Extensive knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management techniques.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff, clients, and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, overseeing operations, and ensuring compliance with health standards.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle client inquiries professionally while maintaining operational efficiency.
