Job Summary

Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glassware, garnishes, and beverages to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste efficiently.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper safety techniques.
- Support food preparation and service by bussing tables, clearing used dishes, and assisting with food deliveries when needed.
- Manage inventory levels and communicate stock needs to the team to prevent shortages.
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing accurately.
- Uphold food handling standards and safety regulations in accordance with hospitality industry guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with general restaurant operations including customer service support, ensuring guests have a positive experience from start to finish.
Experience
- Prior experience working in bars, restaurants, or food service environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in food preparation, catering, banquet service, or hotel hospitality enhances your suitability for this role.
- Previous roles involving bussing, serving, or cashiering demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during busy shifts.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to coordinate effectively with team members and serve guests efficiently.
