Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly to support food preparation activities.
- Manage customer transactions by processing cash, card payments, and handling cash register operations with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following sanitation guidelines and ensuring all food handling procedures are met.
- Assist in restocking supplies, managing retail sales transactions, and ensuring quick service during busy hours.
Experience
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with high-volume food service environments.
- Proven ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Experience in food preparation, food handling, or kitchen operations within a restaurant or café setting is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that promotes guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing register operations confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures is essential for maintaining a safe environment.
