Successful candidates will be reliable individuals who excel when working as part of a team to create a safe and productive work environment for our customers performing bridge and other structural inspections.
To be considered for this position, candidates will currently possess a valid drivers license.
Certain regulatory and insurance requirements must be met:
* Possess and have the ability to maintain a clean driving history (No DUI).
* Submit to pre-employment drug screen in accordance with the WV Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace Act.
* Be accepted as a driver by the Automotive Insurance Policy provider for Span 1, LLC.
While full time employment in this position requires a valid drivers licence, the majority of work performed by successful candidates will cover a broad range of activities including:
* Bucket Truck Operation.
* Manlift Operation.
* Traffic Control Device Setup and Maintenance.
* Operation of Small Watercraft.
* Operation of Sky Climbers.
* Bridge Rigging.
* Operation of Common Power/Hand Tools and General Shop Maintenance.
* Ability to Work at Extreme Heights.
Training to acquire the skills to become proficient in the operation of this equipment is provided by Span 1, LLC at no charge to the employee.
Applicants are cautioned that this position often involves periods of extended stay out of town, as our clients require, on the east coast and mid-west regions of North America.
