Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves warehouse duties ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, positive attitude and a solid understanding of heavy equipment operation, care of quality furniture, with a focus on safety and efficiency in all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Checking client orders and ensuring that you or the other warehouse staff load the correct items in the truck before departure
- Seasonal property maintenance projects, including landscaping duties at multiple locations
- Service call assistance with management when needed
- Safely operate, warehouse lift, box truck and van for route driving and shuttle driving to transport freight between locations.
- Perform heavy haul tasks, ensuring proper loading and unloading of goods.
- Adjusting showroom furniture displays & seasonal decor
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment by moving products and materials efficiently.
- Replenish store inventory, assist in floor moves, prep furniture before moves
- Clean and maintain showroom, bathrooms and warehouse
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding schedules, routes, and any issues that arise during operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and handling freight.
- Maintain standards of health & safety, hygiene and security
Skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Experience in heavy haul operations is preferred.
- Proficient in moving products safely within a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is essential for this role.
- Experience driving company box truck and van is highly desirable.
- Understanding of freight handling procedures is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment is advantageous.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Must be able to lift, carry and move heavy items

Typical start time: 8:00am Tuesday - Saturday
Typical end time: 5:00pm Tuesday - Saturday
1 Hour Lunch per day
(Our warehouse is closed Sunday - Monday)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week, 5 days a week
