Penmac Staffing is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Crate Tech for a full-time position in Owensville, MO. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with tools, staying active, and ensuring products are properly prepared for shipment. The Crate Tech plays a key role in maintaining product quality and meeting shipping standards. Pay & Schedule for Crate Tech
- Pay rate: $15.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
- Overtime: 6:00am–4:30pm as needed
- Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity
Crate Tech Responsibilities
- Ensure all shipping materials, including boxes, labels, and packing supplies, are ready and available
- Clean and wipe down units prior to crating
- Crate and package units according to job sheet specifications
- Work closely with the Quality Department to resolve product issues before crating
- Communicate any product flaws or damage to your supervisor promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Requirements for the Crate Tech
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and packaging staplers
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
- Ability to safely lift 40+ pounds
- Must pass a tape measure test for accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team
