Job description:
The Ringwood Company is a leading supplier of equipment to the corrugated paper industry since 1963. We design, engineer, manufacture, program and install our machinery throughout North America. Our products include robotic conveying, material handling, and automatic mixing equipment. As our company expands its products and services, we are searching for additional people to join our team.
We are currently looking for a controller to work with our accounting and management departments. The position encompasses reporting to the CEO and managing a team of 5+ individuals. The duties of this position include:

- Financial Reporting & Control: Directs the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/ bank reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Operational Oversight: Manages daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Month-End Close: Leads the month-end and year-end close process, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Staff Leadership: Train, supervise, and evaluates accounting department staff.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinates external audits and maintains internal controls to ensure integrity of financial records. Includes managing annual audits for 401K, insurance, and similar.
- Analysis & Budgeting: Analyzes financial data for trends and prepares budget and financial forecasts. Develop and/or strengthen accounting processes and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
Prerequisites ...
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- At least 3 years of previous related job experience.
