Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Also, the candidate should have a PG county teaching certificate. This position involves educating children through engaging activities, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development, and ensuring their overall welfare in a private school setting.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Educate children in various subjects including basic math concepts, language skills, and social studies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
- Assess children's development through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
- Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Maintain records of each child's progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and the ability to create a safe learning environment.
- Familiarity with lesson planning techniques tailored for preschool-aged children.
- A background in special education is a plus but not required.
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
