Position Summary
Elder Corporation is seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our heavy dirt and underground construction teams. This position performs essential job site tasks to assist operators, pipe crews, truck drivers, and foremen in maintaining safe, efficient, and productive operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and able to adapt to changing project needs.

Key Responsibilities
Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in excavation construction projects
Operate numerous types of small equipment including generators, cut-saws, laser sights etc.
Shovel rock, dirt or sand
Conducts flagger and spotter operations
Checks grade
Maintains a clean and hazard free job site
Follow job site safety
Qualifications
Dependable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
Ability to work extended hours during peak season
Must be willing to learn new skills, specific to the industry
Preferred experience with utility installation, concrete structures and flatwork, and/or finish grading
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working around heavy equipment and machinery
Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
