### Job Summary:
Must have an ACTIVE RBT certification.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RBT to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with autism and implement behavior plans and provide support in various settings which includes, home, school, and community. ### Duties:
-Expected Hours 10:00am-3:30pm
- Implement behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure continuity of care
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Monitor and manage challenging behaviors using behavior management strategies
### Skills:
- Knowledge of medical records and ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Familiarity with care plans and ability to follow them effectively
- Understanding of behavioral health principles and practices
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
- Experience in behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Ability to assist individuals with ADLs, such as grooming, hygiene, and meal preparation
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
- Strong skills in behavior management and de-escalation techniques
- Comfortable working with people with developmental disabilities
