American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(M) certification for a 13-week travel assignment performing a full range of mammography procedures including 3D, stereotactic biopsy, and needle localizations.

Mammography unit within a hospital setting

Procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy

Monday–Friday day shift, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

13-week contract

Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required; 2 years highly preferred

ARRT(M) and BLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of consideration

Compact or NC license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of consideration

Hands-on experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic and digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy

1 supervisory reference from within the past year required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a lower pay rate

Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted

Orientations are held bi-weekly
