Yay! Local helps local businesses grow by putting their brand directly in front of the right homes. Through our targeted direct mail publications, we connect trusted local businesses with high-quality homeowners across Wake and Johnston counties.
We're looking for a Brand Ambassador to help grow our presence throughout the Triangle.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, attending events, representing a brand, and helping local businesses discover opportunities. Whether you have previous brand ambassador experience or are looking to build experience in marketing, communications, outreach, or business development, we'd love to hear from you.
No previous sales experience is required. We're willing to train the right person.
We're currently building a team of Brand Ambassadors to help expand our presence throughout Wake and Johnston counties. This is an opportunity to join a growing team, gain valuable marketing and business development experience, and play a direct role in helping local businesses succeed.
What You'll Do
- Visit local businesses and introduce them to Yay! Local
- Build relationships with business owners, managers, and community members
- Schedule introductory meetings between interested businesses and our leadership team
- Follow up with prospective clients by phone, email, and text
- Attend networking events, community events, and local business functions
- Represent the Yay! Local brand professionally throughout the community
- Support marketing, outreach, and business development initiatives

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday

Education:
- High school diploma required
- Applicants with interest or experience in marketing, communications, events, hospitality, customer service, or community outreach are encouraged to apply.
Experience:
- Customer service, hospitality, marketing, communications, retail, event, or sales experience preferred but not required
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to commute to Raleigh, NC
- Local travel throughout Wake & Johnston Counties
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
