RV Service Technician
Full-Time Position
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable RV Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining recreational vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair RV electrical, plumbing, HVAC, propane, and mechanical systems
- Perform appliance service and replacement (furnaces, A/C units, water heaters, refrigerators, etc.)
- Conduct roof inspections, sealant repairs, and leak detection
- Complete preventative maintenance services and multi-point inspections
- Install RV accessories and aftermarket components (awnings, leveling systems, solar packages, etc.)
- Accurately document repairs, parts usage, and labor times
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and management regarding repair status
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an RV technician, automotive technician, or related mechanical role preferred
- Working knowledge of 12V and 120V electrical systems
- Understanding of plumbing and propane systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- RVTI certification (preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on RV roofs
- Ability to kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces
- Capable of working in indoor and outdoor environments
