The Collier County Sheriff's Office is looking for positive, proactive, energetic, enthusiastic individuals that support our core principles of community, safety, service to fill the position of Investigations Specialist I. Starting salary at $23.20 per hour.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to type 30 correct words per minute.
- Minimum Wonderlic score of 18 & OPAC score of 80%.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to maintain confidential data, files and information.
- Knowledge of victim's rights and statutes.
- Ability to update technical/legal manual and/or suppliers catalogues.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally & in writing.
- Coordinate investigative resources.
- Organize, summarize and assemble requested information.
Example of Duties:
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
- Generate/review case summary reports.
- Communicate with victims/suspects/other agencies in detective's absence.
- Retrieve and disseminate information for agency personnel.
- Transcribe taped records.
- Review documentation to develop criminal predicates.
