If you know how to turn leads into funded loans, efficiently and at scale, this role gives you full control of the machine. As our Lead Acquisition & Performance Analyst, you'll own and optimize our lead generation across marketplace partners and aggregators, directly impacting volume, CPD, and profitability.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone with experience in subprime lending, near prime lending or performance-based lead marketplaces who thrives on data, speed, and results.
Job Scope
Lead Performance & Optimization
- Own full funnel performance: Lead → Application → Approval → Funded Loan
- Monitor and optimize KPIs including % App, % Bid, % Fund, CPL, and CPD
- Identify trends and take immediate action to improve results
- Build and maintain vendor scorecards and dashboards
Bid Strategy & Lead Buying
- Manage and optimize bidding strategies across lead platforms (e.g., Origin 8)
- Adjust bids dynamically based on performance, time of day, geography, and quality
- Balance volume and efficiency to hit cost and funding targets
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with lead providers and aggregators
- Analyze performance at the source and publisher (SubID) level
- Pause or optimize underperforming traffic
- Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms
Lead Filtering & Routing
- Optimize filtering criteria (income, state, inquiry velocity)
- Improve match quality with underwriting criteria
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine targeting
Funnel & Conversion Optimization
- Identify bottlenecks in the application and approval funnel
- Partner with UX to improve conversion rates
- Support development of enhanced flows (e.g., returning customer experiences)
Risk & Credit Awareness
- Monitor FPD (First Payment Default) and CCR metrics
- Align acquisition strategies with portfolio quality
- Balance growth with long-term profitability
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years in subprime lending, fintech, or performance-based lead generation
- Hands-on experience with Origin8 or similar platforms (T3, LeadPoint, PX)
- Strong understanding of CPL, CPD, and conversion metrics
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Ability to make fast, data-driven decisions
- Experience managing multiple vendors and data streams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on the lender side
- Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with subprime borrower segments
- Experience with credit/risk metrics (FPD, delinquency)
- Some SQL a plus or BI tools (Tableau)
- Funnel optimization experience
