We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Director to lead and manage our early childhood education programs. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster a team dedicated to excellence in childcare. Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, early childhood education, and social-emotional learning.
- Supervise and support classroom staff, ensuring effective classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving practices.
- Oversee daily operations of the daycare, including enrollment, scheduling, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations. Maintain TRS 4 Star rating.
- Conduct regular staff training on topics such as first aid, special education strategies, working with children with disabilities, infant care, toddler care, and classroom experience.
- Foster strong relationships with families by communicating program updates, addressing concerns, and promoting a welcoming environment.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently; respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate program quality through observations, assessments, and feedback to continuously improve caregiving standards.
Requirements
- Directors License
- Texas rising star experience
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying or babysitting roles; prior classroom experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and lead a team of childcare professionals.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
