VE Signs Inc. is a fast-paced sign and branding shop in Riverside. We design and produce everything from vehicle graphics and channel letters to engraved placards, banners, apparel, and large-format prints — plus flyers, business cards, and full branding packages that take customers from logo to finished signage. Our clients range from local businesses to national franchises. We're looking for a Graphic Designer who's as comfortable doing detailed, original design work as they are prepping precise, production-ready files for our shop floor.
This is a design-focused role in a fast-paced shop. If you take pride in building accurate, print-ready artwork and love seeing it come to life on real materials, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do
- Design original, detailed artwork — logos, layouts, flyers, business cards, and full branding packages, plus signage, vehicle graphics, banners, postcards, and apparel.
- Prep production-ready files — vector cleanup, redrawing and vectorizing customer logos, color separation, and setting up artwork to spec for each substrate and process.
- Build cut and contour files for vinyl plotters and laser engraving, and set up large-format files with correct bleed, registration, scaling, and tiling/paneling.
- Preflight customer-supplied artwork and catch issues before they hit production.
- Work directly with customers in person and by phone — gathering project details, advising on options, and proofing designs for approval.
- Partner with the production team to make sure files run cleanly through print, cut, and engraving equipment.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of graphic design experience, ideally in a sign, print, or production environment.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills (CorelDRAW and FlexiSign a plus — we'll train you).
- A sharp eye for detail and a habit of building clean, accurate, production-ready files.
- Reliable, organized, and customer-focused.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college a plus.
- Able to lift 25–80 lbs.
- Valid Class C California driver's license.
