Peptide Health Coach and Patient Success Specialist:
Nexclin Medicine is seeking an energetic, highly organized, and sales-driven Peptide Health Coach and Patient Success Specialist to support our growing peptide, hormone, weight-loss, and wellness programs.
This individual will guide patients throughout their peptide treatment journey, provide education based on provider-approved protocols, coordinate medication and supply ordering, monitor patient progress, and maintain consistent follow-up communication.
A major component of this position is identifying patient needs and actively cross-promoting appropriate peptide programs, wellness services, supplements, weight-loss treatments, hormone services, IV infusions, and other offerings available at Nexclin Medicine.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, confident salesperson, proactive follow-up specialist, and relationship builder who can educate patients while helping the practice grow.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Education and Support
- Educate patients about their provider-prescribed peptide treatment plan.
- Review provider-approved dosing instructions and treatment schedules with patients.
- Teach proper self-injection techniques, including site selection, site rotation, needle safety, and disposal of supplies.
- Educate patients on medication storage, refrigeration, handling, travel precautions, and expiration guidelines.
- Reinforce treatment instructions and ensure patients understand how and when to administer their medication.
- Provide patients with approved educational materials and written instructions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients by telephone, text, portal, or other approved communication systems.
Patient Follow-Up and Monitoring
- Conduct scheduled follow-up calls after patients begin treatment.
- Monitor adherence, progress, patient satisfaction, and reported side effects.
- Document all patient communication accurately and promptly in eClinicalWorks or the designated system.
- Identify patients who are overdue for follow-up appointments, laboratory testing, medication refills, or treatment renewals.
- Escalate side effects, dosing questions, abnormal symptoms, clinical concerns, or treatment complications to the prescribing provider.
- Never independently diagnose, prescribe, change a dose, or recommend that a patient discontinue treatment without provider authorization.
- Help reduce patient drop-off by maintaining consistent communication throughout the treatment program.
Medication, Supply, and Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate peptide and medication orders based on provider prescriptions and approved practice protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for peptides, injection supplies, syringes, needles, alcohol pads, sharps containers, and educational materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies before shortages occur.
- Track medication receipt, lot numbers, expiration dates, storage requirements, and dispensing status when applicable.
- Ensure medications and supplies are stored according to manufacturer, pharmacy, and practice requirements.
- Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Minimize overordering, expired products, unnecessary waste, and treatment delays.
- Communicate with pharmacies, vendors, providers, and clinical staff regarding order status and patient needs.
Sales and Program Growth
- Confidently explain the benefits, structure, pricing, and expectations of Nexclin Medicine’s peptide and wellness programs.
- Identify additional patient needs through thoughtful conversations and active listening.
- Actively cross-promote other appropriate peptides and services, including:
- Weight-loss and GLP-1 programs
- Hormone replacement services
- Testosterone therapy
- IV infusions and injectable vitamins
- NAD+ services
- Supplements
- Aesthetic treatments
- Wellness and preventive services
- Convert patient inquiries into consultations, appointments, treatment renewals, or program enrollments.
- Follow up with prospective patients who expressed interest but did not schedule or enroll.
- Re-engage inactive peptide patients and encourage appropriate follow-up appointments.
- Meet established goals for consultations, conversions, treatment renewals, cross-sales, and patient retention.
- Track sales activities and provide regular reports on leads, conversions, follow-ups, and revenue opportunities.
- Promote services ethically and only within provider-approved recommendations and practice guidelines.
Administrative and Team Responsibilities
- Maintain organized patient tracking and follow-up lists.
- Coordinate appointments with providers and other clinical team members.
- Use eClinicalWorks and Boulevard, as applicable, to document communication and assist with scheduling.
- Participate in training on peptides, wellness services, patient communication, sales, and practice protocols.
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, medical assistants, front-office staff, and management.
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all Nexclin Medicine policies.
- Assist with the development and improvement of peptide workflows, patient education materials, and follow-up protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in health coaching, medical assisting, nursing, wellness, weight loss, hormone therapy, peptides, aesthetics, or medical sales preferred.
- Strong sales ability with demonstrated success converting inquiries into appointments, services, or program enrollments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable discussing program pricing and recommending appropriate additional services.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple patients, orders, follow-ups, and inventory responsibilities.
- Comfortable learning clinical terminology and following detailed provider-approved protocols.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks, Boulevard, or similar healthcare software is preferred.
- Knowledge of peptides, injectable medications, hormone therapy, or weight-loss programs is highly desirable.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.

Scope of Role
This position supports patient education, adherence, communication, sales, and program coordination. The Peptide Health Coach does not independently diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, establish dosing, modify treatment plans, interpret laboratory results, or provide medical advice outside provider-approved protocols. All clinical concerns must be referred to the prescribing provider.
Pay: $25.69 - $30.94 per hour
