Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. You will assist in various dental procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and help manage patient records, contributing to the overall efficiency of our practice.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, providing chairside support.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop X-rays as required, ensuring proper techniques are used for patient safety.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
- Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed during procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe environment for both staff and patients.

Skills
- Must know Dentrix
- Proficient in infection control practices to ensure patient safety.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology related to general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Experience in dental assisting with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Familiarity with operating 3D scanners for dental imaging.
- Ability to take accurate X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
- Competence in measuring and recording vital signs effectively.
- Knowledge of maintaining accurate medical records for patient tracking.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
