Summary
Kömmerling USA, part of the profine Group, is seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Electrical Technician to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in industrial electrical work, particularly with PLCs and heater band systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including PLC-controlled equipment, heater bands, and industrial machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, control panels, motors, sensors, and other electrical components.
- Program, adjust, and optimize PLCs to ensure proper equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Follow all safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a multi-craft role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, programming basics, and control systems.
- Experience with heater bands, temperature controllers, and related heating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and industrial maintenance best practices.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing or industrial facility setting.
- Requires standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
