Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders and process transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of quality products
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Support food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist in food serving, cashiering, and food industry operations in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, café, retail math, or grocery store is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or cashiering within the food industry is advantageous
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
