Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in menu planning by ensuring ingredient availability and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning
- Support kitchen operations during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other prep work
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and excellent customer service
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or as a line cook in a restaurant setting is required
- Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Experience with fast casual dining or high-volume food service enhances your candidacy
- Strong skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation are essential
- Familiarity with catering operations and serving in a fast-paced environment is advantageous

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
