Overview
We are seeking a friendly and self-motivated individual to coordinate local volunteers for meal delivery at our Marlin meal site.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate meal service deliveries with volunteers
· Recruit volunteer drivers and keep record of active or substitute drivers
· Maintain meal site route sheets and donation sheets
· Communicate regularly with the Meals on Wheels Waco main office
· Attend monthly staff meetings in person or via Zoom/Teams
· Actively promote Meals on Wheels Waco events within the community
· Deliver meals if needed
· Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to work and communicate with all age groups and socio-economic levels. Must be able to represent the agency in an articulate and pleasant manner. Must be comfortable with delegating and supervising work. Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Pay: $12.00 per hour
