We are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support a long-term project with one of our clients. This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for someone who brings a strong accounting foundation along with experience working with financial systems, system testing, or process improvements.
This role sits at the intersection of accounting and technology. As changes are made to the company’s e-commerce and financial systems, you will help test those changes to ensure transactions continue to flow accurately and completely through the accounting environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform user acceptance testing for system changes and enhancements
- Test the accounting impact of changes to e-commerce and related systems
- Validate that revenue and sales transactions are recorded accurately
- Ensure inventory and cost-related transactions flow correctly between systems
- Test returns, refunds, and other transaction scenarios
- Identify transactions that may be missing, duplicated, or recorded incorrectly
- Evaluate potential accounting and internal control risks related to system changes
- Document testing results, issues, and follow-up items
- Partner with accounting, finance, technology, and other cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues
- Help ensure financial data remains accurate and reliable as systems and processes evolve
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
