Job Description: We are on the lookout for a seasoned Project Manager with a robust background in construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will be deeply familiar with the construction process, including the intricacies of filing for permits, overseeing projects from inception to completion, working from budgets and timelines and excelling in organization and communication. Familiarity with Xactimate is preferred. The chosen individual will show ability to manage and schedule subcontractors effectively and demonstrate efficient time management.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the acquisition of new projects. Including ensuring smooth transition of existing customers from mitigation to repairs, and reaching out to local fire departments and insurance agencies to acquire new projects.
· Manage all phases of large project repairs, maintaining control over timelines and budgets.
· Navigating the permitting process, utilizing other team members, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is filed and approved to comply with local regulations.
· Direct project oversight to ensure all aspects of the work meet or exceed industry standards.
· Demonstrate exceptional organization and communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients, team members and subcontractors.
· Utilize Xactimate software for accurate project estimating and billing.
· Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
· Schedule and manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality.
· Practice effective time management to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in project management within the construction or disaster restoration industry.
· Strong knowledge of the construction process and project oversight.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Familiarity with Xactimate software is preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to manage and schedule subcontractors effectively.
· Efficient time management skills, with a knack for juggling multiple projects.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Flexibility to work varied hours as a project demands dictate.
