Our hotel has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a hotel night auditor. We have full time and part time openings. $23 per hour.
The night auditor is primarily responsiblefor balancing and auditing a hotel's financial transactions for a 24-hour period,ensuring accuracy and preparing reports for management. They also handle guest services during the overnight shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Auditing:

Reconciling daily financial transactions, such as room charges, restaurant bills, and other expenses.
- Verifying the accuracy of all postings and ensuring proper documentation.
- Preparing and distributing end-of-day financial reports.
- Identifying and resolving any discrepancies in financial records.
Guest Services:

Checking guests in and out, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries and requests.
- Addressing guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Providing information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
Security and Operations:

Monitoring security systems and conducting regular checks of the premises.
- Ensuring the front desk and common areas are clean and organized.
- Handling any emergency situations or incidents that may arise overnight.
- Maintaining a smooth transition between the night and day shifts.
Other:

Handling reservations and managing changes or cancellations.
- Assisting with preparing and delivering reports to management.
- Communicating important information to the day staff.
Skills and Qualification
- Strong understanding ofbasic accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
