Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and guide them through their orthodontic treatment process with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Schedule consultations, follow-up appointments, and treatment visits efficiently to optimize patient flow
- Educate patients on orthodontic procedures, treatment options, and oral hygiene practices using clear dental terminology
- Assist in gathering and verifying patient medical histories, insurance information, and treatment consent forms
- Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure timely delivery of appliances and materials
- Maintain accurate patient records, appointment logs, and treatment plans in compliance with privacy regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling patient inquiries with positive energy
Requirements
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and healthcare procedures
- Proven ability to provide excellent dental administrative support in a busy office setting
- Previous office experience demonstrating organization and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of dental or orthodontic office workflows is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude
