Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation and safety of our property. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems, electrical and mechanical equipment, and ensuring all facilities meet high standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), and other building systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Conduct welding, residential painting, and other specialized repairs to maintain the property’s appearance and structural integrity.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose system faults accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing maintenance requests from guests or staff with professionalism and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within a hospitality or residential setting.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and dry wall repairs.
- HVAC knowledge a plus, not required.
- Bilingual a plus, not required.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and facility manuals accurately.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
