Duties
- Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer with tanker and other trailer types such as refrigerated, flatbed, dump truck, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across assigned routes
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper techniques, ensuring securement and adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking manual transmission systems, brakes, tires, and tank integrity
- Navigate routes confidently using GPS and route planning tools while complying with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records of mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any vehicle issues
- Assist with forklift operations when necessary for loading or unloading freight at warehouses or distribution centers
Qualifications
- 3 years of driving experience
- No more than 3 moving violations in last 2 years
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
