Skilled Property Maintenance Technician - Residential & Commercial
The Property Butler is a fast-growing residential maintenance company focused on delivering a high-end, professional experience for homeowners throughout Western New York.
We are looking for a skilled, dependable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, problem-solving, and customer experience.
This is NOT production construction work.
This is residential service work requiring craftsmanship, communication, independence, and attention to detail.
Our projects commonly include:
- Drywall repairs
- Trim & finish carpentry
- Door repairs/installations
- Vanity & fixture replacements
- Deck and railing repairs
- General home maintenance
- Punch-list projects
- Small remodeling tasks
- Property maintenance services
What We’re Looking For:
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Is comfortable interacting directly with customers
- Shows up professionally and communicates clearly
- Takes ownership of projects and jobsite cleanliness
- Can troubleshoot and adapt in the field
- Maintains a positive attitude under pressure
- Takes pride in high-quality workmanship
This role may grow into a leadership position overseeing additional technicians as the company expands.
Preferred experience in:
- Carpentry
- Drywall repair
- Painting
- Basic plumbing
- Basic electrical
- Exterior repairs
- General residential maintenance
Additional qualifications:
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Clean and professional appearance
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Experience working in occupied residential homes
