Magic Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to help manage our growing service operation. We need someone who understands the fast pace of home services, can confidently manage a busy dispatch board, and knows how to keep technicians productive while delivering excellent customer service.
What You'll Do
- Manage the daily dispatch board and technician schedules.
- Assign calls based on technician skill, location, availability, and urgency.
- Prioritize emergency calls and adjust schedules throughout the day.
- Monitor technician progress, capacity, drive time, and job status.
- Communicate schedule changes and job details with technicians and customers.
- Maintain accurate job and customer information in Service Titan.
- Coordinate with CSRs and leadership to maximize service opportunities.
- Help minimize cancellations, technician downtime, and scheduling gaps.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years dispatching plumbing, HVAC, or home service technicians.
- Service Titan experience or experience with a similar dispatch/CRM platform.
- Customer service skills that can turn frustrated callers into satisfied customers.
- Strong multitasking ability and the ability to stay cool when everything hits at once.
- Excellent attention to detail — one wrong address wastes everyone's time.
- Clear, confident communication with both customers and technicians.
- Decision-making confidence to prioritize jobs and manage changing schedules.
- Dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership.
Bonus: Previous call center, CSR, or administrative experience in the trades.
