WHAT YOUR DAY MAY LOOK LIKE

- Start your shift by walking the facility, ensuring the building, grounds, and equipment are clean, safe, and ready to welcome members.
- Be a visible presence throughout the branch, greeting members, answering questions, and helping create a welcoming environment for people of all ages.
- Respond quickly and confidently to member needs, facility concerns, emergencies, and security situations while following YMCA policies and procedures.
- Take pride in your facility by completing cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, setting up spaces for events, and reporting or addressing maintenance needs.
- Support exceptional member experiences by working alongside Relationship Managers and other departments to ensure members receive outstanding service.
- Monitor activity throughout the building to promote safety, identify potential concerns, and proactively resolve issues before they become problems.
- Help improve the branch by identifying opportunities to enhance safety, cleanliness, risk management, and the overall member experience.
- Work as part of a team by participating in trainings, staff meetings, and collaborating with coworkers to support daily operations.
- End your shift knowing your work mattered, whether it was helping a member feel welcome, responding to an emergency, preparing a space for a community event, or ensuring every guest walked into a clean, safe facility.
