Part-Time Dog Groomer – Flexible Schedule
A busy dog grooming salon in the Monmouth/Independence area is seeking a compassionate, reliable Part-Time Dog Groomer to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, genuinely loves animals, and provides a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Compensation & Benefits
- 50% commission on grooming services performed

- Estimated earnings of approximately $19–$27+ per hour, based on an average of 4–5 grooms per day

Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, trimming, and styling based on customer requests and breed needs
- Safely and compassionately handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, coat conditioning, and other routine grooming services
- Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming requests and pet care
- Monitor pets for signs of discomfort or potential health concerns
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming station and equipment
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
Qualifications
- Professional dog grooming experience preferred
- Ability to safely groom and handle dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Knowledge of grooming techniques, coat care, and safe animal handling
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A genuine passion for animal care
