Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to drive dump trucks to hall dirt and equipment, pump truck pumping septic tanks , and semi truck to move heavy equipment. Your expertise in commercial driving, vehicle handling, and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of trucks including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds, and septic pump trucks and move equipment, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load dumb trucks with backhoes, skidsteers, loaders
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Manage heavy lifting tasks manually or with mechanical assistance to secure loads properly
- Drive in various conditions, demonstrating proficiency with manual transmissions and heavy-duty vehicle controls
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and maintenance procedures
- Proven experience driving heavy-duty vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds
- Expertise in load & unload operations using different truck types with attention to safety standards
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and licensing requirements (CDL)
- Prior delivery driver experience with a focus on timely, safe deliveries in diverse environments
