Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to handle the programming, setup, and operation of CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts. In this high-tech manufacturing setting, you will be responsible for interpreting technical blueprints, conducting thorough quality checks, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to ongoing process enhancements.
Core Duties

Configure, program using IGF, modify, and run CNC milling and turning equipment.

Manage the operation of several CNC units simultaneously to ensure high output and consistent quality standards.

Analyze and translate complex engineering diagrams, blueprints, and production guidelines.

Ensure product integrity by conducting initial, ongoing, and final quality assessments with micrometers, calipers, comparators, CMM, and other gauges.

Identify and resolve complications related to tooling, machining, or production workflows.

Develop and refine machine configurations and production sequences.

Execute routine equipment maintenance and monitor Statistical Process Control data.

Partner with the engineering department to refine and improve production methods.

Contribute to the success of Lean Manufacturing and ongoing process improvement projects.

Provide guidance and technical training to less experienced team members.

Ensure the workspace remains tidy, orderly, and compliant with safety standards.
Required Qualifications

Completion of High School or a GED equivalent.

A minimum of five years of professional CNC machining experience within a manufacturing facility.

Demonstrated proficiency in the setup and operation of both CNC milling and turning machines.

Proven ability to write and adjust CNC code using IGF or comparable software platforms.

Capable of managing setup and operation for at least five distinct CNC machine models.

Advanced proficiency in interpreting GD&T and technical blueprints.

Skilled in the use of precision measurement instruments such as CMM, micrometers, and calipers.

Solid understanding of shop mathematics, trigonometry, and SPC methodology.

Practical background in applying Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Strong capabilities in collaborative teamwork, clear communication, and technical problem-solving.

Physical capacity to lift weights of up to 30 pounds.
