Doggie Do’s Pet Salon is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and energetic Pet Care Technician to join our team!
This is a job for someone who truly enjoys interacting with dogs, doesn’t mind getting a little dirty and knows it can be physically demanding at times. Every day is active, rewarding, and different.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and interact with dogs in daycare.
- Feed, water, and care for boarding dogs.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces throughout the day.
- Wash bedding, dishes, and pet supplies.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain a clean, sanitary facility.
- Help safely move and handle dogs of all sizes.
- Provide excellent care and attention to every pet.
Requirements
- Must genuinely love dogs.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
- Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Able to stand, bend, squat, and walk for most of an 8-hour shift.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
