We are seeking a Medical Representative to build and strengthen relationships with healthcare providers, promote awareness of oncology clinical trials, and support patient referrals to PanOncology Trials. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, knowledge of healthcare and clinical research, and the ability to collaborate with physicians, clinical research teams, and community partners to expand access to innovative cancer treatments through clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Conduct regular in-person and virtual visits to physician offices and healthcare facilities.
- Educate healthcare providers on PanOncology Trials' clinical research portfolio, eligibility criteria, and patient referral processes.
- Promote awareness of active and upcoming oncology clinical trials within the medical community.
- Develop and strengthen referral networks to increase patient participation in clinical research studies.
- Maintain communication with physicians, Clinical Research Coordinators, investigators, and internal leadership to support patient referrals and collaboration.
- Participate in physician meetings, educational events, networking activities, and community outreach programs.
- Track referral activity, outreach efforts, and performance metrics.
- Support strategic initiatives to expand physician engagement and organizational growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve referral processes and strengthen provider relationships.
- Assist in the development of educational materials and outreach campaigns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of outreach activities and communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare, physician relations, pharmaceutical sales, clinical research, business development, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical research and oncology is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel regularly to healthcare provider offices and community locations.
