Production Batch Maker

Tucson Rubberized Coatings is a fast-growing paint and coatings manufacturer and retailer seeking a Production Batch Maker to support our expanding operations. This role is responsible for producing high-quality coating batches, leading batch assistants, and ensuring strict safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately weigh, measure, and blend raw materials per batch formulas
- Operate, clean, and maintain industrial mixers, pumps, and tanks
- Perform quality checks including viscosity, weight, and consistency testing
- Monitor raw material inventory and report shortages
- Enforce cleaning schedules to prevent contamination and maintain safety
- Lead and coordinate daily work of batch assistants and warehouse associates
- Provide real-time coaching on accuracy, efficiency, and SOP compliance
- Enforce PPE and material-handling safety procedures
- Report safety incidents, equipment issues, or hazards promptly
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment (paint, coatings, or adhesives preferred).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 65 lbs consistently and stand for long periods. Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noises.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Full-time, 60-hour work week, weekly mandatory overtime
