Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Administrative nurse (LPN or RN) to work in the office. This role will be Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing practices with experience with In-Home care settings. Duties
- Open new clients
- Audit nursing notes
- APC checks
- HCBS authorizations
- Manage PDN calendars/ scheduling
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and support staff to coordinate patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medication regimens, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe environment by following health regulations, manual handling procedures, and infection prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as an LPN or RN from the State Board of Nursing with current registration in good standing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, CPR, and AED operation is required; additional certifications such as IV therapy or PICU experience are advantageous..
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication in pediatric or school clinic settings; compassionate patient assessment skills for all populations including geriatrics.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards along with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Willingness to be flexible and perform tasks as asked, based on needs in the office.
