American Traveler is hiring a multispecialty Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience across general ultrasound, echo, and vascular disciplines at a Level IV Trauma acute care facility.

Work setting is a short-term acute care hospital with 49 staffed beds and a Level IV Trauma designation

Multispecialty role covering general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill

Patient ratio of 8:1

4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
On-call required: Monday–Friday 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday

No floating between units within this assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable multispecialty ultrasound/echo setting

Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular studies, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill

Active professional license required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; time off requests should be communicated prior to or at time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
