How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
- Independently perform advanced areas of work to the US Import of parts for the AGT Product Line collaborating with back-office functions including, but not limited to supply management, materials management, engineering, FAST logistics center, SE US Customs and logistics service providers (FF).
- Create and document the process for importing products for the AGT Product Line into the US.
- Engage with the internal Customs Team to ensure parts are classified for US import prior to purchase order placement.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain to ensure suppliers provide the required documentation for US imports.
- Collect the necessary documentation for US imports and prepare pre-alerts for the Customs Broker and internal Customs Team.
- Monitor the US import clearance process for the parts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to organize the final delivery once the parts are cleared by US Customs.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve the import process.
- Knowledge of US import requirements based on HTS assigned to a part
- Strong knowledge of Excel required, RDA/RPA Automation, Alteryx, Mendix, UI Path is a plus
- Must be a self-starter and highly professional
- Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
What You Bring (requirements)
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in international Sales/Marketing, Order management, logistics, project management, import compliance or other technical fields is required.
- Experience with SAP

- Flexible, solutions oriented, and able to effectively prioritize your workload.
