What You Will Do
- Own the order: Process and manage customer quotes and orders, including order entry, acknowledgments, and RMA requests, with accuracy and speed.
- Source from drawings: Identify and source required parts using drawings, schematics, and technical documentation, collaborating with service and purchasing to expedite machine-down situations.
- Chase it down: Follow up on pending quotes, service reports, and urgent shipments so customer needs are met promptly.
- Keep records clean: Maintain accurate customer and order records, including documentation for domestic and international shipments and customs coordination.
What You Bring
- Blueprint reading: Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and assembly drawings (the key differentiator for this role).
- Customer service: Excellent communication and relationship-building across departments.
- Under pressure: Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and prioritizing multiple tasks against deadlines.
- Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); bilingual Spanish or French helpful.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in maintenance, repair, or parts coordination within an automated machinery environment (packaging, filling, or capping preferred).
- Experience in an ISO 9001-certified environment is a plus.
