We are seeking a compassionate, resourceful, and mission-driven Prosperity Specialist to serve as the front door to our Prosperity Platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping people navigate life's challenges and connecting them with the tools, resources, and support they need to move forward.

What You'll Do
As a Prosperity Specialist, you will work directly with individuals experiencing barriers related to:
- Employment and job readiness
- Housing instability
- Financial hardship
- Access to healthcare and community resources
- Transportation challenges
- Other social and economic needs
You'll serve as a trusted guide, conducting assessments, identifying urgent needs, connecting participants to critical resources, and helping them take the first steps toward long-term prosperity.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Intake & Stabilization Services
- Complete participant assessments and identify barriers to success
- Evaluate immediate needs and prioritize services based on urgency
- Develop short-term action plans focused on stabilization
- Utilize trauma-informed approaches when working with participants
- Support individuals navigating challenging life circumstances
Connect Participants to Resources
- Coordinate referrals to internal programs and community partners
- Navigate participants through available services and benefits
- Remove barriers that may prevent access to needed support
- Maintain knowledge of local community resources and assistance programs
Support Participant Success
- Build trusting relationships with participants
- Encourage self-sufficiency and informed decision-making
- Prepare participants for transition into longer-term support services
- Ensure continuity of care through warm handoffs and follow-up
Community Engagement
- Support outreach activities and community partnerships
- Represent Goodwill at community events and partner meetings
- Help strengthen connections within Central Florida's support network
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate participant records
- Track services, referrals, and outcomes
- Support reporting and continuous improvement efforts

QualificationsRequired
- Associate degree in Social Services, Human Services, Workforce Development, Public Health, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Case management
- Social services
- Community outreach
- Crisis response
- Intake and assessment
- Workforce development
- Human services
- Customer advocacy/support
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience working with underserved, vulnerable, or economically disadvantaged populations
- Knowledge of community resources, public benefit programs, and referral networks
- Experience with case management or participant tracking systems
- Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian Creole

- Monday-Friday
- In-office position located in Orlando, Florida
- Occasional local travel to community partner locations and events
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
