Overview
We are seeking a skilled Waste Haul Driver to join our Union Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting garbage to landfill using a tipper trailer and ensuring safe and timely deliveries and dedicate lanes. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN UNION POSITION WITH BENEFITS.
Duties
- Operate tipper trailer to transport garbage to and from specified locations
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in proper working condition
- Perform a post trip inspection
- Follow safety protocols and traffic laws at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of the dump truck
Dedicated lanes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required. Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience. Tipper experience required. Must have a clean driving record with no more than two tickets in the past three years.
-Must be 25-years or older.
- Proven experience as a dump truck driver or similar role
- Knowledge of operating various types of trucks such as refuse (tipper) trailer
- Ability to load and unload materials safely.
- Familiarity with route driving and delivery schedules.

-Expect a 12hr day.
