GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Woodside Ranch is looking for Bar Staff to work in our family friendly bar, the Trading Post, at our Woodside Ranch Property in Mauston, WI.
Bar staff responsibilities include tending bar, making simple bar food, being able to multi-task, managing the arcade games and prizes, running a cash register, serving guests with a sense of urgency, and cleaning the bar at end of night.
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Starting pay rate is $13 per hour.
THE QUALIFIED APPLICANT WILL HAVE:
· Experience as a bartender, server, or similar role is a plus, but not required.
· Reliable transportation
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
· The ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and managers.

- Excellent communication skills, with both guests and other departments and co-workers
- Maintain a friendly attitude with a strong work ethic
THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BELOW REFLECT THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION.
- Follow all operating procedures and policies
- Follow directives of Supervisor and/or Manager for each task assigned
- Tend the bar
- Have knowledge on how to prepare a variety of beverages
- Be able to make simple bar food using the grill, fryer and pizza oven
- Manage the arcade games, including putting tickets in machines and knowing how many tickets are needed for a prize.
- Be able to multi-task, serving drinks, making food, and tending to the arcade all while paying attention to guest needs.
- Serve guests in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency
- Maintain knowledge on how to run an electronic cash register and correctly run credit cards.
- Have adequate math skills in order to manage cash transactions and make change for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of working area.
- Clean the bar area at the end of night, properly close the cash register system, and assure everything is locked up before leaving.
- Observe and report matters of concern to the Supervisor and complete incident report forms on the same
