JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and purchasing produce merchandise for daily, weekly and holiday sales.
- Planning and purchasing to increase Profitability and control Shrink
- Scheduling and overseeing production of 2-5 employees
- Communicates with others in a polite and professional manner.
- Maintain sanitation standards
- Perform sweeping and cleaning function
- Sells, stocks, prepares, and packages produce items.
- May handle and use knives
- Rotates product and ensures compliance with expiration dates.
- Maintain quality service by enforcing company standards and policies
- Comply with OSHA health and safety regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior produce experience preferred .
- Regular attendance required.
- Strong customer service skills
- Lifts, manipulates, pushes and pulls items of varying sizes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular exposure of 30 degree refrigeration and handling product in coolers and cases
- May Require use of plastic or latex gloves
- Bends and stoops, twists and turns.
- Standing and walking for long periods of time are required.
- Must be available weekends and Holidays
