Production & Skilled Trades
The National Accounts Specialist I is responsible for EDI orders coordination and processing along with the overall support of the National and Mass Merchant Accounts as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Processes orders through the SAP / EDI operating system and checks for account information accuracy.

Provide order information to the Senior National Accounts Specialist in order to secure proper routing.

Notifies Senior National Accounts Specialist & National Account Sales Manager of any needed PO updates.

Communicate with distributor accounts as needed on PO confirmation and possible backorders

Constructively review and maintain national accounts’ backorders.

Communicate future & current inventory needs to EDI team.

Report upcoming & current order volumes to EDI team.

Provides general support with the inside sales management team, National sales reps, and National Accounts Sales Manager.

Assists with creating BOL’s as needed for Mass merchant accounts.

Assists in adding ARN’s to Amazon 3PL’s on an as needed basis.

Any additional “at the time needed” functions deemed necessary by the Department Director, i.e. pulling files, re-filing completed files, obtaining documents for audits, assisting in other team members areas/jobs if needed.
Qualifications:
- Computer experience-proficient, Excel, Outlook, SAP, Sales Force, SPS EDI system.

Must have a solid understanding of the flow of EDI processing.

Must have excellent customer service skills, sales experience a plus.

Detailed oriented and organized.

Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal skills, team player.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma with three years of EDI related experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales programs, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent communication skills are needed to work effectively with the National Sales Team.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
